Wiltondale Garden Club 2020 "Pop-Up" Plant Sale

Wiltondale Garden Club Fall Planters

ORDERS MUST BE RECEIVED BY SUNDAY, MAY 17, 5PM

Profits from our annual plant sales benefit local charities, but this year’s sale is extra special!   Many of the plants will come from Emerge, an organization where individuals with a range of disabilities do all the work of planting, watering, weeding, and caring for the growing plants under the guidance of Emerge staff.   It’s a platform for learning employment and horticulture skills as well as a source of a regular paycheck. Emerge relies on plant sales profits to help fund it’s program.

But due to Covid-19, most of this year’s plants have been raised by their horticulturist and two staff members, as many of the disabled are not able to go to work due to the crisis.   Sales are slowed at all small, local nurseries, and where we bring our business really matters.

While we are somewhat limited in what we can offer for sale this year due to the method we’re forced to use during this unusual time, we have personally previewed these plants, and know they are top quality and value-priced compared to those at the big box stores. Even better, we have Covid-friendly pickup or delivery service of your purchases.

We accept checks made to “Wiltondale Garden Club” or cash at time of pickup/delivery
